We are proud to partner with families seeking to educate their children in an independent school setting and who value a college preparatory education in a Christian environment. Kirk Academy, located at 2621 Carrollton Road in Grenada, Mississippi, is a K-3 through 12th grade independent school that offers a Christian-based, college preparatory education. Chartered as Grenada Educational Foundation in September 1966, it is named for W.H. Kirk, who donated the original thirty acres of land. Over the years, the campus has expanded to 65 acres, which include a preschool and elementary building, a high school building, the A.R. Smithers Library, a gymnasium, two practice football fields, a football stadium, softball complex, baseball complex, soccer field, and an outdoor classroom. Kirk Academy does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, nationality, or ethnic origin in administration of its educational programs. Through its wide variety of programs, the school strives to develop all students academically, spiritually, and physically to their highest potential. Kirk Academy, with a long tradition of academic and athletic excellence, has been educating the youth of Central Mississippi for over fifty years and continues to be a leader in non-public education in Mississippi.
